The prevalent difference between ECN’s products and those CBD products available in public retail locations is the purity of the ECN product, the rigorous quality control procedures from cultivation and processing – and the unbiased lab testing conducted by ECN. Our industrial hemp is sourced only from organically grown farms in the United States.
Lack of readily available information is the primary cause of discomfort in physicians when recommending cannabinoid therapy. ECN provides healthcare professionals with lab testing on every product, on every batch produced. Cannabinoid THC level is tested, as well as the CBD content by liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC-MS) on ECN tinctures and the hemp powder used in our capsules and topical lotions. In addition, we test our raw curcumin powder for curcumin content levels; the finished curcumin powders are then tested by UV-VIS Spectroscopy, providing the Concentration Determination for ECN powders.
Microbiology testing for Staphylococcus (or “staph”) bacteria; Aureus; E.Coli, yeast and mold, Enteriobacteriaceae; and Salmonella are conducted. Pesticides, heavy metals, and residual solvents are tested for in the final stages.
